Passive acceptance of the teacher's wisdom is easy to most boys and girls. It involves no effort of independent thought, and seems rational because the teacher knows more than his pupils; it is moreover the way to win the favour of the teacher unless he is a very exceptional man. Yet the habit of passive acceptance is a disastrous one in later life. It causes man to seek and to accept a leader, and to accept as a leader whoever is established in that position.
Jwave (Google wave for Joomla) is a Joomla 1.5 component that allows the integration of Google waves directly into Joomla sites.
The sites are managed via the admin control panel.
Jwave is free, however a small text link is inserted at the foot of the wave, pointing back to this site, should you not want this their is a paid for version (or you could just remove it yourself).
Also Jwave requires a Google Wave developers account to work (well if you don't have an account or are not loged in, all you see is a little messages box from google asking you to sign-in.
Jwave can be downloaded here. Or buy the promo free one here.

Related Articles is a Joomla 1.5 plugin that inserts a list of up to five related articles at the foot every other article, very handy for a blog style Joomla site.
The related articals can be styles via CSS in the templates as per normal, and does not require any additional code in the template or the articles. The related articles will appear like this :-
Related Articles :-Article 1Article 2Article 3Article 4 Article 5
The text "Related Articles" can be styles via the class "Topfive_note" and each of the links to the five suggested article's can be styled via the "topfive" class.
N.B. It is worth noting that currently the links are displayed as links to index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=.... and so may brake sites that have nice search engine friendly URL's.
N.B.2. Since the related articles are selected via a search of the article database, they will not find entry's in other components (such as forums etc.) and also should the article they appear on not have much text (e.g. if it's just an embeded YouTube video or pdf file) then the search won't perform as expeted.

Jscribd, is a free plugin for Joomla to allow you to embed Scribd within Joomla with ease.
Download it here, the follow the guide below to add Scribd documents to you Joomla site.
N.B. If you use Jscribd in book viewMode, you *MUST* also state the starting page (adding page:=1 to your Joomla tag) otherwise you will need to move forward or change your view type to see the first page. Thanks to Tim from PCB for finding and reporting this.
